April 23, 2026 – Huntersville, NC – Boruff Violin Studio is thrilled to announce its annual Young Artists Chamber Concert, taking place on Thursday, May 28 at 6:30 pm at the Rafters at Historic St. Mark’s Episcopal Church in Huntersville, NC.
This beloved annual event showcases some of the most talented young string musicians in our studio and community, and this year’s program promises to be a truly special evening of chamber music. The concert will feature a diverse and exciting repertoire, including Carl Bohm’s Quartet for 4 Violins in G major, Charles Dancla’s Trio No. 4, the first movement of Joseph Haydn’s String Quartet No. 2 in F major, Op. 74, the first movements of Felix Mendelssohn’s String Quartet No. 1 in D minor and String Quartet No. 2 in A minor, and a combined ensemble performance of John Rutter’s beloved Suite for Strings.
The concert will feature performances by nineteen accomplished young musicians: James Welsh, Annabelle Flowers, Ben James, Kate Boruff, Cooper George, Millie Mitchell, Lydia Dalton, Arizona Cox, Tin Nguyen, Anna Dang, Andrew Gallagher, Addyson Livingston, Lachlan Russell, J’Ericson Newby, Emma Heu, Dave Sarley, Luigi Malaguez, Tristan Thompson, and Emily Costa.
The Rafters at Historic St. Mark’s is a stunningly beautiful venue with exceptional acoustics, making it the perfect setting for an evening of chamber music. Audience members can expect to be swept away by the virtuosic performances of these young musicians, who have dedicated countless hours to perfecting their craft. Whether you are a longtime classical music lover or a newcomer to the genre, this is an evening not to be missed.
