May 31, 2025 – Huntersville, NC – Boruff Violin Studio is thrilled to announce that Angela Watson, violinist with the Charlotte Symphony Orchestra, will be joining us at our 2025 Summer Workshops as a guest artist and instructor for a public masterclass on June 7, 2025. As an orchestral musician, Angela has performed with classical artists including Van Cliburn, James Galway, Awadagin Pratt, Midori, Schlomo Mintz, Gerard Schwartz, Stephen Hough, Ransom Wilson, John Mauceri, Lang Lang, Itzhak Perlman, Pekka Kuusisto, Han Na Chang, and Renée Fleming, and a broad range of contemporary artists including Randy Newman, Chris Thile, Pink Martini, Kristen Chenowith, Chris Botti, Andrea Bocelli, John Mayer, Alicia Keys, Herbie Hancock, Josh Groban, Natalie Cole, Earth Wind & Fire, America, Ben Folds, Boyz II Men, Colin Mochrie and Second City, Stevie Wonder, and for the Grammy Awards.
