They are awesome! They are both professional and personable! They are very patient no matter the skill level. They not only focus on teaching music but the basic fundamentals as well. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

After recently moving to Charlotte I decided to take up violin lessons again, I'm a very novice beginner. Eric has been a wonderful instructor, and is enthusiastic about what he teaches. He's very good at explaining the nuances of why and how you do certain things while still helping with the "big picture". He is my third instructor and I finally feel like I'm learning a lot and learning it correctly.

Excellent instructor. You can tell that he is truly passionate about his craft. If you are looking for an energetic teacher that gets you excited about learning while still providing constructive feedback this is the guy to see.

My 7 year old daughter has been taking violin lessons with Eric for about 6 months now. I have really enjoyed seeing how she has progressed from knowing nothing about the violin to being able to play short songs that she knows. Most importantly, my daughter is excited every week to see "Mr. Eric." Violin lessons are a fun time for her. Even when her enthusiasm exceeds her ability to focus, Eric is very patient and we are steadily seeing the fruits of his teaching and her short daily practices. I would definitely recommend Eric to someone who has a young child interested in exploring the violin!

He is much better than former teacher 15-20 years ago. He is patient and I very much like the Suzuki method that he uses. I can sincerely recommend him to anyone. And I am 64 years old, so it's a little harder for me than a younger person. I do play other stringed instruments but they all have frets, which is quite different!

Eric is a wonderful teacher! As a beginner and a busy adult, I was intimidated by the idea of taking lessons while juggling the other responsibilities of life. While Eric is passionate about the instrument and an expert in his talent, he is also understanding and flexible. I am comfortable and I enjoy the lessons each week and the pace at which he teaches. Each week I feel challenged and inspired. I have a long way to go to even understand the basics but I am excited about the instrument, especially with Eric as my instructor. He gets my full recommendation!
