August 21, 2025 – Huntersville, NC – Boruff Violin Studio had the distinct honor of welcoming William Shaub, concertmaster of the Knoxville Symphony Orchestra, for a masterclass at the intimate Rafters at Historic St. Mark’s.
Students performed works by Bohm, Bach, Accolay, and Bruch, and each performance was met with Mr. Shaub’s insightful coaching and thoughtful feedback. His guidance brought fresh perspective to every piece, inspiring both the performers and the audience alike.
The evening concluded with a spirited set of duos performed by Mr. Shaub and Eric Boruff, followed by an engaging Q&A that gave students and families a chance to learn more about Mr. Shaub’s artistry and professional journey.
